Morning Routine

Improving my morning routine is my recurring goal each year.

It is the most important time of my day.

It is the time I use to get focused spiritually, mentally and physically for the day.

Without my routine, the rest of the day is up in the air.

With a successful routine, I feel like I have started the day well.

I am 28 years old and I still struggle with this routine.

This biggest thing is just jumping out of bed. If I can get up earlier like planned, I would have more time to get things accomplished.

For an example, I have a goal of running or walking each morning. This morning I didn’t wake up early like planned so I had to skip my exercise. But, the most important thing in my morning is time with God.

I listen to sermons and music on my way to work to get spiritually prepared. Then when I get to work early, I read my bible and try to knock out some personal todos, read or write before work. As long as I can get some of the other things done, I feel successful before my work day starts.

However, I do not want a Dadbod so, I should probably start jumping out of bed earlier so I can get back into running shape for the Houston Half-Marathon.

So currently this my morning routine list(sometimes I don’t meet this list):

Wake up at 5AM

Exercise

Get kiddos ready for school.

Breakfast

Get ready for work

Commute with sermons/podcast/music

Coffee, read Bible, write, read books etc

What does your morning routine look like?

If you are struggling with energy or motivation for your day, consider implementing a morning routine.
